IRES Technology - Limited Warranty & Service Policy

IRES Technology Corp. warrants all of its products to be free from manufacturing defects for one year, starting from the date of purchase. Only the original end user who purchased the product is eligible for warranty coverage.

 

IRES Technology warrants its products against malfunctions or defects in workmanship and material, provided that the product has been used in accordance with the applicable instruction manual.


 

Warranty & Liability Exclusions

The warranty becomes Void if the product shows evidence of misuse, neglect, accident, physical damage, alteration from factory condition, improper installation or operation. This warranty does not cover damages caused by acts of nature, crime, lighting strikes, power surges, vandalism, unauthorized repair personnel, or shipping transportation. Routine cleaning and repair for normal wear are not covered.

 

In no event shall IRES be liable for incidental, accidental or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use its products. IRES will not be held responsible for losses or damages related to the possible malfunctioning of its product.


 

Refund / Exchange Policy

IRES Technology Corp. will credit the price paid for the product if it is returned within 30 days of purchase, provided that it is in brand new condition, unused, in its original packaging with all parts and documentation included. RMA number must be obtained and applied on such shipments. A restocking charge may be applied if equipment returned is incomplete or not in resalable condition (at the discretion of IRES).

 

Products requiring service within the warranty period will be repaired or replaced at the option of IRES Technology. In the event of replacement, a similar product of equal or greater specification may be substituted for the actual model returned at the discretion of IRES.

 

To Obtain Service:

 

  1. Make sure you have registered your product on-line (ucorder.com) in the warranty registration section.
  2. Contact IRES () in order to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. Please be sure to include the product model number, the reason service is required and your daytime telephone number.
  3. The product must be securely packed in a well-padded sturdy carton with its original packaging and all supplied accessories included. The RMA number is required on the shipping label and proof of product purchase plus an explanation of the problem must be enclosed.
  4. If purchased in the USA, products are to be returned to IRES Technology, 203 Eggert Road, Buffalo, NY, 14215. If purchased In Canada, products are to be returned to IRES Technology, 1370 Don Mills Road, Suite 300, Toronto, Ontario, M3B 3N7.
  5. The returned product will be inspected by our service staff to confirm the existence of a problem covered under warranty. If the unit is deemed to be defect-free it will be returned to sender, at the sender's expense.
  6. Repaired product will be shipped back to the sender prepaid at the expense of IRES.

The use of the video, recording and/or audio functions of the uCorder shall not be used, without limitation, for immoral, criminal, tortious acts and other civil wrongdoings, harassment and disturbance of others. At all times you agree to indemnify and save harmless IRES Technology Corp., its officers, directors, employees, shareholders and contractors in connection with the use and operation of the uCorder and/or breach of any of the provisions herein.

 

The warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may have other rights which vary from state to state. Certain items in this warranty could be prohibited by local legislation.
